the different goals a practice may have, members of the health team, how
to plan, conduct, and document effective staff meetings, office practices
and policies, and the business office manager.

Office |
The second module in
the series, this program introduces the student to the purpose, location,
and design of the office, electronic office equipment, office furniture,
and office supplies.

| Inventory |
This module discusses
supplies (classifications, purchasing, and quantity), computerized and
manual inventory systems, ordering and receiving, and repairs. Procedures
are suggested for accurate setup and maintenance of the office inventory.

| Clinical Records |
This Dental Office Managment
module will include the patient registration form, patient clinical folder,
medical/dental history, dental clinical record, treatment plan, and additional
patient information such as x-rays, photographs, correspondence, lab prescription
form, insurance information, and miscellaneous information. |
